How to Lose Belly Fat Quick
Since the majority of Americans are overweight, losing belly fat is a common and worthwhile objective for many. Numerous people have ventured through special diets, elaborate exercise programs, and miraculous diet pills only to discover knocking off that belly fat is not an easy task. And even for those who have found some success, it often does not last and they find themselves back in the same condition over time. One government report by the United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC) describes the dire situation:
Survey data suggest that millions of Americans are trying to lose weight. The marketplace has responded with a proliferating array of products and services, many promising miraculous, quick-fix remedies. Tens of millions of consumers have turned to over-the-counter remedies, spending billions of dollars on products and services that purport to promote weight loss. In the end, these quick-fixes do nothing to address the nation’s or the individual’s weight problem, and, if anything, may contribute to an already serious health crisis.[1]
Avoiding Scam Diet Pills for Losing Belly Fat
For example, some diet pill sellers want to tell you that their snake oil pills will make it all so much easier for you to lose belly fat or other types of fat with miraculous promises and boastful claims. One company tries to insist that their products such as Clinicallix, Nuphedragen, Thermotox, 7-DFBX, and 72 Hour Slimming Pill all work, but the same company sells hundreds of other diet pills under a large variety of names. So if they all work, why so many different diet pills? For these five pills we just mentioned for losing belly fat, it requires five responses to their claims: SCAM, SCAM, SCAM, SCAM, SCAM.
Some of their declarations for Clinicallix, Nuphedragen, Thermotox, 7-DFBX, and 72 Hour Slimming Pill include phrases such as:
“LOSE 7 LBS EVERY 7 DAYS WITH THERMOTOX!”
“Lose Weight in ONLY 7 DAYS”
“Drop a Full Dress Size in 72 Hours”
“Lose Weight in 10 Days”
Yet, these type of claims all fly in the face of scientific scrutiny for losing belly fat or any type of fat. The FTC explains:
Falling into the too-good-to-be-true category are claims that: the user can lose a pound a day or more over extended periods of time; that substantial weight loss (without surgery) can be achieved without diet or exercise; and that users can lose weight regardless of how much they eat. Also falling into this category are claims that a diet pill can cause weight loss in selective parts of the body or block absorption of all fat in the diet. These types of claims are simply inconsistent with existing scientific knowledge.[2]
And though almost all of these diet pills make extraordinary claims of scientific studies or trials, real long-term studies (and especially those without a conflict of interest) are extremely rare. The FTC reports:
The publicly available scientific research contains very little evidence that would substantiate long-term or permanent weight-loss claims for most of today’s popular diet products. Experts usually insist on studies going out at least one year, if not two, in order to substantiate a claim for long-term weight-loss maintenance. Reliable studies of the long-term effectiveness of weight-loss products and programs are difficult and expensive to conduct. Not many marketers are likely to want to spend the money and the time necessary to have such tests of their product’s effectiveness done. But that does not prevent many of them from assuring consumers that their product or service is “the secret to permanent weight loss” or that “you may never need to diet again.”[3]
Though the official Clinicallix, Nuphedragen, Thermotox, 7-DFBX, and 72 Hour Slimming Pill websites plaster testimonials all over their front page to create a deceptive aura of customer satisfaction, this is simply a marketing gimmick and most of them are fake. The same companies often own a host of other fake review websites so that whenever you search in a search engine, you come up with cloaked websites with fake reviews that they really own in their attempt to create an illusion of customer satisfaction. It is often quite easy to find what customers really think by using legitimate sites like Amazon.com when the product is sold there. For example, when we look at Clinicallix, Nuphedragen, Thermotox, 7-DFBX, and 72 Hour Slimming Pill, we find that most people are not happy with these diet pills, claiming they don’t work, they have awful side effects, and they can’t get their money back. Here are some real testimonials:
Clinicallix:
“I did exactly what the instructions told me to do. I held it up for 3 weeks. no results at all (promises 10 lbs in 10 days). I was even working out 4days a week, but nothing. At the end i was only feeling natious and having stomach cramps so I stopped using this product.”[4]
Nuphedragen:
“It’s no secret that diet pills provide no miracles. I was simply hoping for more energy and some appetite suppression, kinda like the ma huang days that helped me through grad school. This stuff made me tired and messed with my equilibrium. I never experienced that with ephedra. They compare this to effects of cocaine and amphetamines, but it seems more similar to cannabis, fatigued and hungry, not what a dieter wants.”[5]
Thermotox:
“So far I have not seen a “one pound a day” loss and I’ve taken it on and off for 3 weeks now. It does make you have more frequent BM’s, but nothing to make you shed 7 pounds a week. My caloric intake has been reduced and since I can only work out about twice a week, I was hoping that it could get me a boost to lose the unwanted fat around my stomach but so far it hasn’t. I’ll keep using this product until I’m out of pills, but I don’t think I’ll see much of a change even if I do.”[6]
7-DFBX:
“I didn’t see any benefit from these pills. I thought I would at least see a difference is water weight, but nothing. I should have known what is too good to be too usually is…”[7]
72 Hour Slimming Pill:
“I actually read positive reviews but they were probably on sites that sold it. This product caused me to gain weight. I gained about 5 lbs in the 3 days of taking them. I weighed 207 before taking. Today is last day I am 212. How does it release or get rid of toxins? Because I did not have a bowel movement in the entire 3 days. This does not work at all. It is Bogus.”[8]
This is the same story for almost any diet pill. Why? Simple, diet pills do not work–never have, never will. Those who sometimes think they work are usually those who are exercising and eating right and attribute some of those normal belly fat losses to the diet pill when in fact the diet pill has nothing to do with it whatsoever.
How to Really Lose Belly Fat
The real answer to losing belly fat is not a specific diet, a promising exercise program, or even a diet pill boasting miracles that simply make no common sense from a scientific standpoint. How to really lose belly fat comes from a lifestyle choice where you make the decision to live life differently, which incorporates a proper diet and a consistent pattern of exercise. No miracles, no new revolutionary gimmick or tool, and, most certainly, no snake oil diet pills that simply do not work.
If you are determined to lose that belly fat, get serious with a genuine understanding about how that can be accomplished. There are no quick, easy, knock-off-all-that-belly-fat solutions. It requires hard work, endurance and persistence. Change the way you eat and exercise. Begin cutting out the sweets and bad fat products we all love and get started on a healthy diet. And then exercise to work off that fat. You don’t need to invest money in specific diet or exercise programs. They are not the miracle you need either. You are the miracle; just make a determination to eat healthy and work out on a consistent basis and you will start to lose weight. But, like we said, it is a lifestyle change that must go on forever if you want to keep that belly fat off.
